Dear Parents,

We have been having so many great field trips over the last month.  Second Grade had a wonderful time seeing Seussical at Sherwood Hall.  Fourth Grade enjoyed a morning at the Symphony, and Third Grade were fortunate enough to go to the Planetarium at Hartnell College.  Thank you to the parents who chaperone on our field trips!  We appreciate your time and hope you have fun, too.

Evo Bluestein is here this week.  He brings a wonderful experience to our students with historical dances from many cultures.

If you are the parent of a 5th grader, please mark April 7th on your calendar for pictures.  These are used in the students’ promotion certificates, so this is a dress up event!  Lifetouch will be here at 8:30, so please help your child arrive at school on time.

Spring Break is just around the corner, April 10-14th.  When we come back, grades 3-5 will begin our state testing, commonly called SBAC.  Testing begins April 19.  Students will have testing for Math on Wednesday and Thursday (April 19-20) and the English Language Arts test is scheduled for the following Tuesday and Wednesday (April 25-26).  Makeups will take place from April 27-May 2nd

Open House is scheduled for April 27th from 5:30-6:30.  It is always a delightful evening to spend here on campus.  We look forward to seeing you!
