🍂 Growing Together This October

October is an exciting and busy month across our schools! As we settle into the school year, I want to thank our teachers, staff, and families for their continued partnership and dedication to supporting our students.

This month, our teachers wrapped up parent-teacher conferences, providing valuable opportunities to connect with families, celebrate student progress, and work together to support each child’s success. Thank you to all the families who took the time to participate in these important conversations.

Sports are also in full swing at our elementary and middle schools! It is wonderful to see our students building teamwork, confidence, school spirit, and sportsmanship both on and off the field. We encourage everyone to come out and support our student-athletes throughout the season.

Please remember that Monday, October 12, is a Professional Development Day for staff, and there will be no school for students. Our educators will use this time to continue learning, collaborating, and strengthening their practices to better serve our students.

As we approach the end of the month, our schools will celebrate Halloween with fun activities and parades. These events are a great way to bring our school communities together and create special memories for our students. Please check with your individual school for specific dates and times.

Thank you for your ongoing support, involvement, and commitment to our school community. I look forward to all the wonderful things we will accomplish together this fall!

Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and wonderful October!

🤒 Flu Season Is Here!

Flu season has arrived early this year! Help us keep our school community healthy by keeping your child home if they have:
  • A fever of 100.4°F or higher
  • Vomited within the past 24 hours
  • Watery diarrhea or difficulty making it to the bathroom in time
Please allow your child time to recover before returning to school. Resting at home helps prevent the spread of illness to classmates and staff.
📞 Reminder: Please contact the school office to report your child’s absence whenever they are unable to attend school.

📝 Report Cards

The quarter has ended for our Middle School students! For our Elementary School students, the trimester will end on October 27th.

Parents and guardians, please be on the lookout for report cards coming soon. Thank you for your continued support in your child’s education!

🚌 A Friendly Reminder: Safe Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Now that we are well into the school year, this is a great time to refresh our drop-off and pick-up procedures to help ensure the safety of all students, staff, and families. We kindly ask all families to continue following their school’s established procedures and to remain mindful of posted signs, designated drop-off and pick-up areas, and traffic flow.

Please check with your individual school site for any specific procedures, schedules, or updates.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and partnership in keeping our school communities safe and making arrival and dismissal as smooth as possible for everyone!
