At-home equipment substitutions

We are very lucky to have so much quality PE equipment at school.  But guess what?  When we are at home, we can use some creativity and come up with great at-home substitutions.  Here are some we can use:

If you don't have a:                   You can use:
a ball to throw, roll, and catch
A paper ball, rolled up socks, or stuffed animals
a balance disc (for our balance disc workout) A pillow, rolled/folded clothes, towel, or blanket
a scoop A folded magazine (hold one end tight, the other end will look like an open scoop
juggling scarves tissues, light-weight clothing like socks, paper towels
a parachute a large bedsheet and a bunch of household members to hold the ends
small weights cans of soup/beans/vegetables
targets and goals
an open/empty cardboard box, an open laundry basket, an opened backpack
bowling pins or other targets
empty plastic water bottles or cans
